Join the AD Club of Maine for their next professional development series on how Social Media is empowering the consumer, connecting the world, and forcing new industries to get more creative.

About our event:
Attend this workshop and learn how social media has lead to massive world changes and empowered millions all while keeping trying to reel in the reach of less accepted industries such as health products, medicinal cannabis, and vitamins. Hear how social media managers in these industries are navigating around the inability to advertise and finding answers in influencers, creativity, backup pages, and good old fashion risk taking.
David will touch on how he got started in the industry and how social media has lead to connections to some of the world’s most influential people via a late night Skype with Steve Wozniak, live coverage from the front of the protest lines during the Arab Spring, Poker chats with World Poker Tour Winner Chris Moneymaker, and even a few nerve-racking conversations with inspiring Muslim youth planning an Iranian Spring.
No secrets will be held back and attendees will learn what tools are used, what tactics are taken, and what companies are breaking new ground.
We promise one thing: This won’t be your average seminar on likes, pins, and dancing cats.
Tickets are $25 Non-Members, $10 Members.
